Documents
For new temporary residence permit, the following documents are necessary:

Copies of company’s documents.
Passport and copy of it (passport must be valid not less than 1,5 year after filling of application).
One recent photo (40x60 mm).
Document showing the residence in Lithuania. It can be:
1) flat lease agreement (its validity must be at least 1,5 year and it must be registered); or
2) written consent from any person who lets you to declare your residence in his premises (we can help you to get it for 250 EUR).
You may be asked to show your personal bank account statement for 6 months period.
Interview
When applying for residence permit, you will be interviewed. We recommend to prepare for interview very carefully in order to avoid refusal. It is important to convince the officer that you have real plans to start business in Lithuania. Mostly all rejections are for very simple things. You should know basic facts about Lithuania: where is Lithuania, what is climate of Lithuania, what is language and neighbors of Lithuania, what is the population, what kind of business are you going to do in Lithuania.
We also recommend to show documents of the company you are working in your country (if any). You should understand English, otherwise it will be difficult to answer questions during interview. Other important thing is that your life history should be clear, no criminals, no deportation, etc.
